At B’spoke Coffee, sustainability isn’t about perfect solutions or marketing claims — it’s about making better choices wherever we can, from the coffee we serve to how we run the shop, while being honest about the impact of things like disposable cups and encouraging reusable options wherever possible.
We offer a truly B'spoke coffee experience
B’spoke Coffee is an independent speciality coffee house based at Heaton Chapel train station in Stockport.
Since opening in 2016, our focus has been simple: serve excellent coffee while creating a welcoming place for the local community.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick espresso before catching the train or meeting friends for a slower brew, B’spoke is built around the idea that coffee should bring people together.
Inside the shop you’ll even find live train times, so you can enjoy your coffee without worrying about missing your journey.
Crafting great coffee
At the heart of B’spoke is a commitment to great coffee. Founders Nick and Jordan bring over 25 years of combined barista experience, shaping everything from the coffees we choose to how they’re brewed in the shop.
Alongside the coffee we serve in the shop, we also help people enjoy great coffee at home through carefully selected brewing equipment and our monthly coffee subscription.
Never miss your train
We’re located at Heaton Chapel train station, with live train times displayed in the shop. Grab a coffee and relax for a moment without worrying.
Open when others aren't
Many local cafés close at the start of the week, but B’spoke stays open, so you can still get a proper speciality coffee early in the week. Open 07:00 Mon - Fri.
Honest sustainability
We focus on reducing waste wherever possible. We use compostable takeaway cups and offer 25p off drinks when you bring a reusable cup.
Experienced baristas
B’spoke is run by baristas with over 25 years of combined experience. Every coffee is brewed with care, knowledge and attention to detail.
Nick
Nick has spent over a decade working in speciality coffee and founded B’spoke Coffee in 2016. His approach focuses on quality, sustainability and building a coffee house that feels genuinely connected to the local community. Alongside running the shop, Nick is passionate about sharing knowledge through barista training and helping people understand what makes great coffee.
Jordan
Jordan brings over 13 years of barista experience, with a strong understanding of brewing, flavour balance and the small details that elevate a great cup of coffee. His experience ensures that every coffee served at B’spoke is brewed with care and consistency. He is also passionate about the craft behind great coffee, continually refining brewing techniques and helping customers get more from their coffee.
Honest sustainability
Sustainability is a core part of how we run B’spoke, but we believe in being honest about the realities behind it.
We use compostable takeaway cups and plant-based lids, which are a better alternative to traditional plastic-lined cups. However, compostable materials still require the right conditions to break down properly and are not a perfect solution.
Because of this, we actively encourage customers to bring reusable cups and offer 40p off every drink when they do.
For us, sustainability isn’t about claiming to have all the answers. It’s about making better choices where we can and continually improving how we operate.
